  This guy (for me at least) works through a home warranty company (HMS Home Warranty, seems to be a complete scam). He came by when my heat pump went up. Instead of replacing the old, outdated unit with the new industry standard 410A units (they stopped making R22 units a couple years ago), he found an insufficient replacement unit to slap up. I found out later that the seer rating (13) wasn't up to current industry standards (14). He did a poor job installing it as well. It was not leveled, filled to a low refrigerant level, etc. The compressor failed a year later so I had to call the warranty company back and pay a separate deductible to try to get him back out here and fortunately he was going on vacation that week. I recommend that you stay far away from this man and his terrible workmanship, as well as any company who employs his services like HMS.
